From coaching basketball and football, to being an athlete and trainer, Ricky’s passion for sports and fitness began at an early age. Having participated in sports from an early age, Ricky began to weight train at the age of 16 to improve his performance in athletics. Ricky’s athletic background has included playing football at the University of Windsor, playing football for Team Canada, and trying out for the Toronto Argonauts. Sharing these experiences and knowledge with others to help them achieve their health and fitness goals provides Ricky with a great sense of satisfaction.
Over the course of life, he has acquired a diverse skillset for all types of fitness levels. As a certified trainer, Ricky strives to challenge clients to reach and surpass their goals so they can enjoy their life to the fullest. Ricky’s experiences include training clients from ages 8 to 82, ranging from competitive training for sports, weight loss and muscular tone to individuals who aim to maintain or improve their overall health.

I have always enjoyed learning how the body works and the science behind it. Since beginning personal training my skill set has been able to grow and I have been able to help numerous people of all different ages to reach their goals. My passion began when I started learning how the body functions during courses in high school and I quickly grew eager to learn more about it, from there I was enrolled in numerous different college courses before finding Health and Fitness Promotion, a course deigned specifically for people who wanted to become personal trainers.
After this I was hired as a personal trainer at GoodLife in 2016, and was introduced into the world of powerlifting. This is where I was able to really start investing in myself and I have even competed in my first powerlifting meet in 2017, with many more to come!
From fat loss and muscle gain, to increasing strength and improving lower back health, whatever your goals are I can help give you the tools needed to succeed!
MARLEY VANDERNAALT
Growing up as an athlete, Marley has been involved in sports his entire life playing a wide variety such as soccer, hockey, football and many others. At the age of 14 Marley found his passion for lifting weights and has been steadily training ever since.
Over the course of the past three years he has been learning nonstop about how to better yourself in the gym, learning all of the intricacies of working out and has amassed an expansive knowledge of the body and the many ways to improve it through exercise and a healthy diet.
Marley is very passionate about helping clients reach their goals, whether it may be shedding fat, providing successful routines for beginners or pushing athletes to improve at their sport. Marley can help you obtain your goals no matter what they may be!
